Mysql : Reset root password 

service mysql stop
mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &
mysql -uroot mysql 
	UPDATE user SET password=PASSWORD("abcd") WHERE user="root"; 
	FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
mysql -uroot -pabcd mysql
